The Last Mage - Final Project
Final project of the Introduction to Digital Illustration course, held at Level Up Academy. The focus was on creating keyframes, taking advantage of storytelling.
I decided to use sixteenth-century Japan shortly before Oda Nobunaga's fall. The story follows the journey of a magician who seeks the bodies of his parents, who died during the war.

I wanted to use pairs on this work: a male mage and a female warrior.
I chose three characters who would protagonize the story.
Then I chose one, and draw some gestures, with a more rendered pose.
Didn't have the time to put the second protagonist on the story, but I liked her.

In japanese traditionj, religion sometimes involves magic. But I wanted to demonstrate some religious festival.
